Description
Collect and maintain the set of business reporting requirements.
Implement BI reports based on the above requirements.
Analyze existing reports and optimize them for standardization across the company.
Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
Work with data warehouse architects, data scientists, and data collection application engineers. Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed.
Designing, implementing, and maintaining BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses.
Developing dashboards, visualizations, and reports that present complex data in an easy-to-understand way helps stakeholders grasp important trends and insights quickly.
Requirements
Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data ScientistIndustry experience is preferred
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data miningIn-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworkFamiliarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovativeAnalytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
