Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in managing accounts payable functions for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with accounting software.Responsibilities:Manage accounts payable processes, including paying rent for 45 stores and processing raw material invoices.Maintain records of receiving and purchase orders, matching them accurately to invoices.Obtain proper sign-offs for invoices to facilitate timely payments.Utilize vendor discounts where applicable to optimize cost savings for the organization.Coordinate with the buying group "All Pro" to process invoices bi-monthly on the 10th and 20th, handling up to 100 invoices per cycle.Serve as a liaison between stores and receiving departments to facilitate smooth operations.Utilize strong organizational skills to manage a heavy workload of paperwork efficiently.Qualifications:Previous experience in accounts payable or related financial role.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as AP and Sage 300 Pro ERP.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors, store personnel, and internal stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.Experience working in a similar role within the retail or manufacturing industry is a plus.
