General Description:
Project Manager duties include all support functions related to construction of multiple projects. Candidate must be able to successfully develop project scope, cost estimate and budget, coordinate design team efforts (architects, engineers, etc.) to complete plans and specifications, organize, manage, log, and monitor project documents (plans, specifications, RFI's, submittals, as-built documents, etc.) and provide general support to the project team. Construction monitoring tasks include interpretation of construction drawings, understanding of the construction process, measurement of work in place, quality assurance, field observations, development of RFI's, and problem solving, complete construction close-out documents.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or related field is preferred.
10 plus years’ progressive experience with multifamily renovation and new construction.
Valid driver’s license and State minimum required automobile insurance coverage.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
Must be willing and able to travel to remote job sites on a regular basis.
Experience in government contracting and knowledge of U.S. Government procurement regulations and labor laws is a plus.
Ground up construction and development experience.
