- Platform Engineering Cloud Team Project Manager
- The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project and associated milestones, tasks, schedule, and action items in support of Platform Engineering Cloud Team projects.
- The Project Manager will work closely with Platform Engineering Cloud leadership, Cloud Delivery team, and cross-functionally across other technical teams to deliver quality products and execute projects.
- Candidate must have proven track record in project management and proactively work to set customer expectation to assure a smooth project including project timeline, requirements, and critical dependencies.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities with demonstrated history of working with a range of small to large projects requiring resource coordination and task tracking as well as building high performing teams where members are engaged with the work they are undertaking.
- Responsible for end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end: Initiation through Closure
- Must be able to probe in order to identify risks, issues, and dependencies that have not yet been articulated
- Produce timely and high quality work products that may include scope, project plans, project schedules, requirements specifications, meeting minutes, test plans, test scripts, and other deliverables.
- Document, organize, and update tasks and documentation using Jira and Confluence
- Prepare project status reports weekly and as requested.
- Create and deliver updates to senior management on project goals and plans, progress reporting, updates, milestones, metrics, risks, and issues.
- Organize and facilitate project planning, status meetings, reviews, requirements and release planning, and other project-related meetings.
- Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core systems, technologies, and technical platforms.
- Support the delivery of projects using Agile methodology, values, and practice.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant project management experience.
- Project management concepts such as WBS, dependencies, milestones, and issue or risk tracking
- Defined, coordinated, and led Agile-based projects
- Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools
- Self-starter demonstrating solid judgment - understands when to seek guidance but has strong ability to think and act independently under limited oversight and direction.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Visio.
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment.
