Description We are offering a contract for a Senior Project Manager position in McMinnville, Tennessee. Operating within the technology business management sector, the selected individual will play a crucial role in supporting IT through various managerial tasks such as Portfolio & Program Management, Financial Management of the IT Budget, and Vendor Contract Lifecycle Management.Responsibilities: Ensuring successful delivery of small to large-scale complex projects and programs. Creating and managing systems for tracking projects and associated deliverables. Collecting data and analyzing results to optimize operations and inform decision-making. Collaborating with Executive Sponsors, Business Owners, Information Technology, Field Operations, and external vendors to facilitate successful implementations. Coordinating with external vendors, personnel from multiple Program areas, and information technology resources, fostering a collaborative environment. Monitoring project requirements, priorities, and deadlines from inception to completion. Overseeing project costs, deliverables, timelines, vendor contracts, compliance, and invoices. Adhering to budget based on project requirements, ensuring quality and timeliness of project results. Facilitating project financials through timely processing of project Payment Milestone invoices. Exploring and implementing a variety of best practices and standardized processes to ensure operational efficiency and scalability. Developing and implementing detailed reports to keep key stakeholders up-to-date on progress, issues, and outcomes. Requirements Extensive experience in Project Management, including implementation and optimization of operations Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing teams to successful project completion Comprehensive understanding of compliance and quality best practices within project management Proficiency in handling financial aspects of projects, including budget processes, invoice and check processing, and performing ad hoc financial reviews Ability to manage time effectively and progress projects in line with agreed timelines Experience in procurement processes related to project management Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including advanced features for project tracking and presentations Understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in project management Commitment to continuous improvement and the application of industry best practices in all aspects of work.
