Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Director of Operations in Loudon, Tennessee. The role involves overseeing the operations of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring efficiency and profitability, and working closely with the board of directors. The position requires on-site presence and occasional travel.Responsibilities Oversee the management of three manufacturing facilities, ensuring production goals are met. Maintain plant budgets across all locations and present financial information to the Board of Directors. Identify and resolve issues within the plant to maximize operational efficiency. Increase profitability while minimizing waste and scrap materials. Collaborate with the procurement manager to improve efficiency and profit margins. Use Microsoft Excel and industry-specific software to manage and analyze operational data. Conduct annual physical inventory and ensure accurate record keeping. Deliver executive presentations on operational performance and strategic initiatives. Implement strategies to maximize efficiency and operating efficiencies. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interviewRequirements Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience in plant management is essential Familiarity with industry specific software is necessary Experience in conducting annual inventory and annual physical inventory is needed Demonstrated ability to improve profit margins Proven track record in maximizing efficiency and operational efficiency Experience in delivering executive presentations Ability to lead and manage a team effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field is preferred In-depth understanding of business operations and processes Strategic planning and business development skills Excellent organizational and leadership abilities Outstanding communication and people skills Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.) Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
