job detailsA well known industry leader in manufacturing is looking for some highly enthusiastic machine operators to work on 1st shift. Candidates MUST have blue print reading experience, and the ability to read and check part to drawing to assure quality standards. Reponsibilities include:
Load tools and setup for next part
Adjust program for angle and bend dimensions
Write programs for new parts production
Check parts first piece with calipers and height gauges to assure a quality run part
Lift, carry, push/pull up to 35-40 lbs frequently
Squat/kneel, bend/stoop frequently
Sit,stand and walk for 1-9 hours daily
Work in fast paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection and vision protection as needed
salary: $14.25 - $19 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesTake parts to/from inspection. Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 35lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
