Senior Software Engineer

Description:Looking for a Senior Software Engineer within Integration Services to join Ingrams team in LaVergne, TN (Greater Nashville area). this position will work with a group of associates on one or more internal systems, and/or business applications, including the development, integration, and testing of systems in compliance with development best practices. Key Responsibilities: Contributes as a high functioning member of the Integration Services API/Webservice application developers. Defines and executes software development integration processes and data management controls based on industry best practices to ensure each development initiative meets user and business requirements on a consistent and repeatable basis. Designs and develops custom software that meets business and user requirements. Provides team production support duties such as leading Root Cause and Corrective/ Preventative Action Initiatives. Mentors junior engineers. Provides Level of Effort (LOE) estimates in response to product requests and works with the requestor and Data Management manager to refine and prioritize work. Other Duties as Assigned Day-to-day: 65% Development, 10-15% Leadership, Remainder Varies Not a huge demand for new features at the moment. Next 15 months to 2 years- more of a conversion from BusinessWorks, C#, and Java into Node. Run on VMs now (Linux)- move into Kubernetes/data center. Web APIs Moving toward NodeJS for new projects Would like to shrink the tech stack- have Java, C#, Gooey/DesignWorksSkills:Java, C#, .net, Software development, kubernetesTop Skills Details:Java,C#,.net,Software development,kubernetesAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Integration Team Supports: Manage Tipco EMS, Kubernetes/Containerization/Getting Cloud Ready, FTP- Go Anywhere Size of Team: 5 devs + Jim Nice to Haves: 1. Agile Background – they also use Kanban 2. TDD – This is a current gap for them on the team. 3.
