Great delivery work originating in the Knoxville area. This is local curbside and dock to dock delivery. One man work with palletized freight and curbside delivery. 3 months contract with possibility to extend.
This is box truck work that requires 26' truck, pallet jack and lift gate for residential curbside deliveries. You must operate your own truck to apply for this position.

Pays $65 per hour with an 8-hour minimum. Lowest daily pay is $520 and can pay as much as $715 if you run for an 11-hour day.
In this position and Owner/Operator will be operating as an hourly driver. At the start of each day you will get a load of 8-12 stops of palletized freight for delivery. Mostly residential curbside delivery. Some deliveries will be dock to dock.
In addition to deliveries drivers will need to complete some pick-ups if there is room on the truck and you are in the area of the pickup while running your normal route.
All days start and end at the terminal and you can park your truck at the terminal overnight. Trucks can be pre-loaded at your option as well.
This is not white glove delivery, so there is no requirement to enter houses or do any sort of assembly/install.
Start time is 8 am. Ongoing opportunity and ability to run multiple trucks for high performing drivers.
This is a 3 month contract, but good drivers will be extended, likely through peak season.
