Our company Lewis Electric is looking to add a skilled carpenter to its staff. In this role, it will be your job to help us with the installation, construction, maintenance, and demolition of various structures. Much of the work you do will involve wood, but you may also be tasked with working with other materials, such as steel and concrete. Other roles such as trim, sheetrock repair, flooring installation new and repairs.
You should be familiar with the best carpentry practices and techniques. You should also be able to read blueprints and to follow their guidelines to create the structures that they represent.
To qualify for this job, you need to have completed a carpentry apprenticeship or have an extensive background in the field. You should be able to operate many different tools and be capable of building many different structures with minimal supervision.

Carpenter Responsibilities:
Read blueprints
Have all hand tools to complete various carpentry projects
Use a variety of tools and techniques to install/replace doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures
Comply with all building code and safety requirements
Assist in the maintenance and installation of various structures
Provide excellent customer service to our clients
Carpenter Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent experience
Ability to use a wide variety of carpentry tools and techniques
Familiarity with blueprints
Professional appearance and demeanor
