JPL is currently looking for a day shift Inventory Control Specialist (Day Shift: 6:00am to 2pm)

Essential Duties:

1. Schedule all inbound raw material shipments.

2. Perform QC inspection on all inbound shipments.

3. Enter all inbound raw material into Marcola in a timely manner.

4. Responsible for Inventory Control.

5. Performs cycle counts daily following a strict schedule.

6. Perform inventory adjustments in the production system daily.

7. Responsible for accelerated quarterly cycle counts.

8. Coordinates with plant manager and production control for year-end physical inventory.

9. Responsible for ordering and keeping adequate stock of office and plant supplies.

10. Present a professional and cordial attitude towards plant visitors and customers.

11. All other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager

12. Backup Production Scheduler

1. Strong verbal and written communication & math skills required

2. Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred

3. Driver’s License and Forklift Experience Required with Current Forklift Certification preferred

4. Extremely detail oriented and meticulous with good organizational skills

5. Must have general understanding of computers with data entry skills

6. Strong clerical skills to help with any organizational & recording responsibilities

7. Must be self-motivated

8. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Production & Inventory Control is preferred

9. Ability to take direction from management & work independently with minimal supervision
