Sign Production/Printing/Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, team-oriented individual who is skilled as a sign production/printing specialist and graphic designer. The candidate must have an excellent understanding of graphic design software and sign production equipment. Attention to detail with products and customers and problem solving skills can lead to higher growth. We are a small, 30 year old family operated business, focusing on a caring, positive, and encouraging environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare production files by sizing, scaling, and color setting files/artwork for signs, vehicle wraps, and banners.

Properly setup files for large format printing and vinyl cutting production.

Operate vinyl cutter and large format printer.

Setup the contour cutting and CNC router files, including print and cut operations.

Prepare color modes CMYK and RGB and accurately control colors in printing.

Perform basic customer service duties, including taking customer orders and answering phone calls.

Accurately keep track of daily electronic and paper records related to jobs.

Develop illustrations, logos, and other visual elements to meet customers' needs.

Present design concepts to customers and make revisions based on their request and feedback.

Passion for learning new technologies and techniques to become a more improved sign production professional.

Qualifications:

1-3+ years of experience in professional sign making production preferred.

Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and FlexiSign.

Background in vinyl graphics creation and application.

Working knowledge of large format printing and cutting equipment operation.

Experience with RIP software.

Attention to detail and ability to work multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
