Job Description:
Furniture Delivery Services is seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as independent contractors for furniture delivery in Knoxville, TN. As a delivery person, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transport of furniture items to our valued customers' homes.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and unload furniture items from our warehouse to customers' homes.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and assembly of furniture, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Inspect furniture items for damage before loading and ensure accurate delivery.
Requirements:
Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture items.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday
- Own or have access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Previous experience in furniture delivery and assembly or a related field is preferred but not required.
Benefits:
