I am seeking to hire a personal assistant. I have a diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II and use a motorized wheelchair.
Those applying will be willing to assist with all or some of the following:
- Cook; assist with feeding/drinking.
- Household activities (vacuuming, laundry, dishwashing etc).
- Assist with hygiene and dressing.
- Assist with transferring with hoyer lift (training provided).
- Help care for pets.
Requirements:
- Be drug and alcohol-free. Random testing is possible.
- Pass a federal background check.
- Have a valid driver's license in the state of Tennessee.
- Have or be willing to get CPR/AED and First Aid certification at their own expense.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
I am currently hiring for the following shifts:
Saturday 12am-6am (overnight Friday)
Saturday 10am-6pm
Sunday 12am-6am (overnight Saturday)
Sunday 10am-4pm
