Senior Electrical Engineer

Job DescriptionInsight Global's client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to sit in either Knoxville, TN, or Charlotte, NC. The team they would be joining serves Power Generation clients, so will be working on projects that can include hydropower plants, coal plants, nuclear plants, gas plants, etc. They will be responsible for doing project walk-downs to assess equipment/projects and assist in the creation of scope, budget, man-hours, cost, etc. Additionally, they will lead project equipment teams for the design and engineering of the new equipment for the plant. This design will include one-line diagrams, low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, motor control design, etc. They will also utilize ETAP for power systems studies when necessary.
