We provide carbonization, graphitization, chemical vapor deposition, and other high temperature processing for customers who are manufacturers of carbon, graphite, and ceramic parts. They are used in aircraft and automobile brakes, thermal protection systems for space, and hypersonic vehicles, and coatings for green energy batteries, fuel cells, and electrolyzers. We provide preforming, needling, die-cutting, and machining services, and BAM is developing a new business unit for carbon aircraft brakes.BAM Is owned by Loar Holdings Inc., a diversified manufacturer and supplier of niche aerospace and defense companies (NYSE: LOAR).POSITIONBAM, Inc. is looking foran experienced, dependable, and initiative-taking Maintenance Technician who can also work as an Operator in their spare time. The position is located at our Business Park warehouse location. This person will also be cross trained to do Needling and maintenance at two locations including our main facility on Lexington Drive, as needed. The primary goal of this position is to always maintain the equipment and machines to ensure they are operating and functioning properly.Scope:Monitor the performance of needling systems and follow maintenance procedures to ensure optimal operation. This may include scheduling regular inspections, conducting repairs, and replacing components as needed to prevent downtime and maintain efficiency.Work Environment:
On-site position, Day shift, M-F
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to support production or project deadlines.
Qualifications, education, and/or experience required:Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent ResidentMust have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.Must be knowledgeable in high school or college level math and familiar with the metric system.Must have maintenance experience; mechanically inclined.Must have computer skills and be knowledgeable in Excel and WordMust be comfortable standing for extended periods of time.Must be able to work in a respirator as needed.Must be comfortable with flexibility of switching tasks when needed.Prior production experience and environment familiarity preferred (weather related temperatures, noise, etc.)
