Develop electrical and pneumatic designs, schematics, and drawings using AutoCAD.

Interpret mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements, collaborating with design tools such as Autodesk Inventor.

Research and evaluate supplier products for assembly components, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.

Help establish and maintain electrical and pneumatic standards to ensure consistency and quality in project execution.

Work to standardize PLC/HMI designs and code between systems to improve maintainability.

Develop electrical and pneumatic bill of materials to support project assembly and installation.

Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications, ensuring functionality.

Check the quality of assemblers and technicians' work and respond to inquiries during the assembly process.

Collaborate with our Sales team with input for quote preparation contributing to project feasibility assessments.

Perform and support equipment installation and maintenance at customer facilities

Design and develop software applications based on given requirements and specifications.

Understand client requirements for GUI/communication interface, networking, and create specifications based on these requirements.

Review, repair, and redesign legacy code and troubleshoot issues with existing company-installed systems.

Contribute to project reviews to ensure the proper development and implementation of features, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with automation systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Write user manuals to communicate the functionality of company-developed programs, enhancing user understanding.

A passion for emerging automation technologies and industry trends, to propose and implement innovative solutions

What you will need :

BA/BS degree in engineering or related discipline (BSEE degree preferred)

5+ years of related experience with a preference for experience in the controls industry wi h proven experience in system design and implementation, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, robotics.

Proficiency in Design/Drafting Tools AutoCAD and Inventor.

Proficient in Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).

Proficient in configuring and designing HMI/OIT systems (e.g., Allen Bradley, Maple Systems).

MS Office and general computer skills proficiency.

Familiar with Industry Standards UL and CE.

Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g., IAI, Yasakawa).

Experience and skill in troubleshooting control system issues - must be a quick, innovative problem solver.

Travel - up to 50% -Willingness to travel as required for project implementation and collaboration.

What we would like:

Experience in designing to certifications and standards (CE, ATEX, IECEx, ISO, UL).

Experience with and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and systems.

Proficiency in Mechanics and Materials.
