Job Title: Clinic Registered NurseJob DescriptionThe RN will assist the provider throughout the clinic with various duties. Primary responsibilities include serving patients over the phone for prescription verification and appointment follow-ups. The role also involves occasional scheduling, preparing and maintaining patient charts, which include insurance, registration, correspondence, laboratory and radiology reports. Additionally, the RN will schedule and coordinate appointments, scans, and tests, confirm appointments, and notify appropriate departments of daily and weekly patient schedules. The candidate will receive incoming calls to assist patients, physicians, and others with patient-related matters, relay diagnostic test results to patients per physician's discretion, and conduct follow-up phone calls to patients with problems and no-shows. The RN will also perform blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and weight measurements on each patient, alert the physician of any abnormalities, perform medical history assessments on each patient before they are seen by the physician, and maintain medical supplies in each exam room and office supplies in the clerical area.Hard Skills
