Architect II

The purpose of this job is to plan and design, and/or facilitate the execution of new building designs, building expansions or remodels to meet established scope, design standards and general professional standards. The Architect 2 role will lead architectural project design through all phases and work alongside the project team to successfully complete assigned projects. Fully competent architect in all conventional aspects of architecture.Ability to lead and delegate architectural design work to a team of 3-6 CAD designers.Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity.Performs analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts.Prepares project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data. 6. Writes reports and specifications.Reviews completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.Works closely with the CAD Designer / Project Manager to execute project plans.Coordinates with CAD Designer / Project Manager to directly supervise the teams’ design and technical delivery.Directly reviews and coordinates between consultant drawings and architectural drawings.Directly coordinates with construction team to execute solutions to site/field issues.Architect of Record for projects performed by the Design Team.
