Description Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our client in Knoxville, TN on a contract basis. Position Overview:As an Accounting Specialist in this contract role, you will play a crucial part in training our current accounting staff in the efficient use of NetSuite software. This opportunity allows you to contribute your expertise in NetSuite while working closely with our Controller and alongside the CFO. The position involves responsibilities in account reconciliation during month-end close, managing accounts payable and receivable, and overseeing inventory counting processes.Key Responsibilities:Conduct training sessions for accounting staff to enhance their proficiency in NetSuite software.Credit Card Reconciliation assistance.Perform account reconciliation tasks during month-end close.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Oversee and execute inventory counting procedures.Collaborate with the Controller and CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting.Qualifications:2-3 years of hands-on experience working with NetSuite in an accounting/finance department.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a focus on inventory tracking.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Location and Work Environment:This position is based in Knoxville, TN, and requires on-site presence during full-time hours.
