Successful, family owned trucking company based in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Driver Manger / Dispatcher.
Driver Managers are at the core of our business, working directly with our professional drivers on a daily basis to ensure successful delivery of our freight to our customers. This is a full-time professional dispatch role in a fast-paced, service driven setting. This position involves managing people. There is regular communication with a team of office co-workers and a fleet of truck drivers. Driver Managers make quick business decisions every day that are in the interest of the company. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, self-motivation, and a proactive, problem solving mentality are keys to success in this role. A successful Driver Manager is accountable for getting our drivers good miles and getting them home.
We are seeking a career-minded, hard working manager from varied backgrounds, including trucking, logistics, restaurant management, retail, management trainees, or recent college graduate.

Work Wednesday to Saturday
Prefer minimum of 1 year trucking industry experience.
Prefer experience with Tom McLeod Software.
Prefer 1 year management experience.
