ResponsibilitiesThe Administrative Medical Assistant will share responsibility in providing comprehensive administrative support and managing the budget for the Chief Medical Officer. Duties will include handling accounting tasks such as budgeting, purchase requisitions/orders, monthly invoices, and accounts payable. This position will also be responsible for timekeeping and payroll administration, coordinating calendars in Outlook, and maintaining confidential employee and HIPAA-related files. Additional responsibilities will include coordinate workers’ compensation claims, ensure compliance with audits, schedule exams, and manage records retention.Qualifications Must be high school graduate or equivalent Experience in Medical Office Coordination preferred Minimum 4 years of Administrative Coordination Experience or Equivalent College Degree Plan Proficient in Microsoft Office software Applications and ability to assist others with use Committed to Zero Incident Mindset for Safety Strong organizational skills to manage changing schedules and daily demands of the department Must be flexible in adjusting work duties to meet business demands including schedule changes/covering absences/variety of workload day to meet business needs Must maintain confidentiality and handle such information with discretion Must meet Eastman’s dependability guidelines Strong, professional interpersonal skills Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills o Must be able to communicate clearly with others orally, in writing and electronically Self-starter; takes the initiative to get the work done Must have ability to understand, interpret, and remember written and oral procedures and apply new skills and technologies Possess and practice good organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
