Provide support to all areas of the laboratory
Prepares laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
Send test requests to proper location and release test results
Process specimens to be send out to additional facilities
Sample sorting, racking and retrieving; both electronically and manually
Troubleshoot any sample related issues such as bad labels or wrong type submitted
Interact and assist clients with their requests
Maintain record logs in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred (1-2 years)
Comfortability with handling biological specimens
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Strong communication skills; written and verbal
Well organized and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
High level of attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office
