Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksboro, Tennessee. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be expected to manage customer applications, maintain precise customer records, and respond to customer queries. Your role also includes monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary action.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications Accurately maintain customer credit records Handle the data entry of invoices Perform account reconciliation Manage accounts payable (AP) Oversee the processing of invoices Ensure correct coding of invoices Facilitate 3 way matching of invoices Maintain the general ledger system Communicate with vendors via email and phone when necessary Utilize Microsoft systems for various tasksFor immediate consideration please contact: Kelly Fellows 865-370-2219Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role or related field Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Strong Data Entry skills Experience in Invoice Processing Knowledge of Microsoft-DOS Ability to effectively manage Vendor Contacts Familiarity with General Ledger System Experience in Coding Invoices Proficiency in 3 Way Matching in an accounts payable setting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
