Assemble patients’ health information in chart.

Ensure all forms are accurately completed, properly identified, and signed.

Ensure all necessary patient information is in the computer and up to date.

Scan pertinent information into patient’s EMR.

Obtain and handle medical record document requests from outside parties, which may include subpoenas, FMLA forms, etc. for response and regulation compliance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Required Minimum Knowledge

1 year related experience in a healthcare environment required.

PREFERRED Qualifications

Completion of medical record technology or medical terminology course preferred.

Knowledge of practice management and word processing software.

Ability to perform redundant tasks with minimal error rate.

Ability to use good judgment in the course of contact with physicians, patients, staff, and outside sources.
