Handle other duties as necessary

Handle specific weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for department heads

Reconciling of employee deductions and other liabilities

Provide assistance as necessary for all internal and external audits related to payroll

Protect confidential payroll operation information and maintain employee confidence

Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data

Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines

Compile all information in reference to summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages for reports

Report changes where necessary after maintaining payroll operations via company policies and procedures

Handle all payroll information questions and requests

Reviewing and verifying source documents

Detail all payroll liabilities by establishing employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payment

Collect and analyze information including resolving payroll discrepancies

Payroll record maintenance by tracking changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers Requirements - Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired

Meet and uphold Certified Payroll Professional criteria

Well-informed in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen

Expertise with internal controls

Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills

Excellent data entry skills

Solid understanding of Business Process Functions

General familiarity with project management

Experience with travel

Foundational knowledge in Liaises

Planning experience

Microsoft Excel experience desired

Earlier work involving logistics

Good understanding of Hiring Processes

Previous experience working with Regulation

Comprehension of Payroll Functions

Compliance experience highly desired

Skills in Expense Reporting

Hands-on experience with Compensation Administration

Training experience required

Procedures experience preferred

Proven knowledge of payroll

Strong familiarity with Written Communication

Practical knowledge of About Time

Knowledge of Deductible

Quality experience with Workstation Support

Experience with Overtime

Prior experience with Internal Control

Wide ranging experience with Benefit Functions

Well-founded grasp of Human Resources (HR) Administration

Solid understanding of Onsite

Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

2+ years of relevant experience in payroll

Previous experience handling high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.

Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
