Trades I - Electrician

Supports resort operations by performing basic electrician tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.As a Trades I - Electrician, you will:Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort managementUnderstand how electrical systems function and be able to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipmentSafely work with ceiling fans, breakers, ballasts, switches, outlets, bulbs, and moreRepair moderately complex equipment, such as vacuums, toasters, lamps, and small appliances as neededWork with low voltage systems (12V to 24V) to install controls, thermostats, transformers, relays, and breaker panelsInstall circuits and devices using electrical conduit (EMT), MC cable, and wiring as neededDemonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical data and O&M manualsActively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for tasksOperate resort operations software and devices effectively (HotSOS)Communicate professionally via radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactionsPerform maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by resort managementSafely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools required for electrical workWork using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spacesFollow safety guidelines and practicesIdentify and report potential hazards on the propertyCommunicate and interpret guest needs with positive interactions toward resolutionAdhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and proceduresAlways represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behaviorPerform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadershipTo excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
