Provides explanation of process and addresses concerns and questions.● Communicates with admitting physician's office, nursing unit staff, and/or other appropriate personnel regarding admission to exchange necessary information and determine placement.● Maintains current knowledge of all rules and regulations governing third party admissions/registrations and pre-certification requirements● Verifies insurance eligibility and creates estimates based on services rendered, including co-pays, deductibles and out-of-pocket amounts.● Verifies precertification/authorization on file matches test/procedure/services being performed.● Maintains an acceptable registration error ratio & collection goal.Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent - Required

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
