Responsible for assembling and reviewing all inpatient, short stay surgery, rehab, and observation records for accuracy and completeness of documentationReports to: Market Director Health Information ManagementAnalyzes the medical record for chart completion deficiencies, in accordance with regulatory requirements and medical staff rules and regulations.

Drag Edit DeleteReviews documentation and updates or clears the deficiencies as appropriate.
Drag Edit DeleteResponsible for answering telephone calls and assisting visitors (including but not limited to physicians, patients, and their family members), while maintaining confidentiality.
Drag Edit DeleteCompletes birth and fetal death certificates. Provides state with necessary birth information within state required timeframe, as needed.

High School Diploma or GED - Required
Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology - Preferred
