Our Data Science Team provides code development, data source identification, data testing, advanced statistical methods and best-practices for advanced modeling techniques for our Labor Optimization, Annual Operating Plan, and Long-Range Plan. We maintain Data Quality Standards and Data Governance, Accessibility, Storage and Scalability - all the while developing analytical methods and applications that unlock the monetary value of data assets. Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain Finance , you will help manage areas of Data Science that help redefine how our Finance Teams forecast and plan for labor optimization within our US Supply Chain. You will work side-by-side with leadership to partner across multiple Walmart Finance organizations that support different businesses. You will be an advisor on designing, refining and delivering labor optimization best practices for Finance Planning through our forward-looking strategy.How you'll make an impact:

Advise Leadership and Partners on Data Science for Labor Optimization Modeling by supporting priorities and providing a forward-looking lens for the Walmart Finance Teams you support

Provide Relevant Data Sources and Analysis for Labor Planning Models by understanding business context, combining industry knowledge and market information specific to supply chain, logistics, and our retail businesses

Develop Insightful Solutions by identifying problems and data innovations for financial forecasting, and streamlining labor planning solutions

Develop Talent and Leadership to attract new people and build our workforce, while promoting a positive environment for team members to grow

What you'll bring:

You have 10-15+ years of data analytics or data science for supply chain finance, labor planning, or distribution; or major business functions within a large corporate environment.

You have client-facing experience in data analytics for FP&A, Finance Transformation, Strategic Finance, or Financial Reporting with a retail store chain, large multinational company, or major management consulting firm.

You have core experience with Coding, Querying Data Sets, Providing Data Insights and solutions, Problem Formation with Big Data Analysis, Automation Techniques, Data Quality Standards and Governance, Accessibility, Storage and Scalability.

You have experience managing people and building domestic and multinational teams.

You excel at presenting financial cases to partners and senior-level management.
