Lead Quality management efforts in respective Region. This includes reporting, weekly reviews, project management, root cause analysis, data analysis, on-site events, training, mentoring, and standard work implementation.

Train Operations leaders in Quality management tasks, metric dashboards and other data sources, Lean/Six Sigma tools, and project management.

Review site-level Quality Site Improvement Plans for accurate root cause analysis and site level action items that ensure sustainable and controllable solutions.

Cost and Benchmark

Lead Cost and Benchmark management efforts in respective Region. This includes reporting, weekly reviews, project management, root cause analysis, data analysis, on-site events, training, mentoring, and standard work implementation.

Train Operations leaders in Cost and Benchmark management tasks, metric dashboards and other data sources, Lean/Six Sigma tools, and project management.

Review site-level Cost Site Improvement Plans for accurate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and site level action items that ensure sustainable and controllable solutions.

Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA)

Lead DEA management efforts in respective Region. This includes reporting, weekly reviews, project management, root cause analysis, data analysis, on-site events, training, mentoring, and standard work implementation.

Train Operations leaders in DEA management tasks, metric dashboards and other data sources, Lean/Six Sigma tools, and project management.

Assist in RCA of complex Quality defects.

ACES Program Team Support

Provide two-way support by connecting Operations leaders with ACES program team leadership.

Assist Ops Integration team in implementing new rollouts through site-level coordination and communication.

Assist Process Engineering in site-level standard work execution.

Assist Continuous Improvement by reviewing CI Project charters and training Operations Leaders in CI Portal use.

Collaborate with NASC Finance team to prioritize focus on top loss-leaders and largest gaps to Benchmark performance.

Key job responsibilitiesSupports sub-regional leadership team across Quality, Cost and Delivery metrics. Provides on site support to determine systemic opportunities, provide an RCA and align with actions to correct deficiencies. Facilitate weekly QCD Review to drive and sustain change that translates into cost avoidance. This role requires 50% travel commitment, this will usually be exceeded during HVE periods.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Atlanta, GA, USA | Dallas, TX, USA | Houston, TX, USA | Jacksonville, FL, USA | Miami, FL, USA | Nashville, TN, USA | North Englewood, MD, USA | Orlando, FL, USABasic Qualifications-2+ years of Operations Manager experience within the NASC-Ability to communicate both verbally and written to senior leadership is crucial in this role-3+ years of program or project management experience-Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements-Lean Six Sigma, basic understanding required, required to pass a Black Belt Course within 3 months of accepting position-Excel, basic skills are crucial to success in this role, ability to create excel documents using macros is useful in this rolePreferred Qualifications-2+ years of driving process improvements experience-Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related fieldAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
