ConsultantWork location – Will
consider any NGS location with a preference of Indianapolis IN, Harrisburg, PA
or Syracuse, NYResponsible for project
and process work in the National Government Services (NGS) Internal Controls
department. Primary duties may include,
but are not limited to:
Coordinating external audits,serving as the primary point of contact with the external client, leadingaudit meetings, and tracking audit deliverables and issues.
Preparing and presenting verbaland written reports for leaders.
Leading meetings with internaland external clients.
Coordination of all CMSinternal control reports, compiling board materials, coordinating allexternal audits and tracking of all audit issues.
Develops and leads projectplans and communications.
Assesses and manages risk asneeded and ensures corrective action on deficiencies is taken.
Provides expertise in the areaof audit techniques, procedures, regulations and compliance.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting or finance or any
combination of education and/or experience which would provide an equivalent
background required. 5-8 years of auditing experience required. CPA, CIA, or
CISA preferred. Previous Government or Medicare Contract and/or Project
Management experience preferred. Information Security or Information Technology
experience preferred. Experience coordinating audits, working with
external facing clients preferred.
