Cash Application Specialist

Description We are offering a role for a Cash Application Specialist in Cordova, Tennessee, United States. The position is part of the accounting industry and offers a short term contract opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cash application functions, including the accurate posting and classification of payments, reconciling payments, and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities: Manage financial records related to cash transactions. Apply payments accurately to customer accounts. Ensure timely and accurate posting of cash receipts. Resolve discrepancies and reconcile accounts. Research misapplied payments and correct accordingly. Process chargebacks. Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and other queries. Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. Use accounting software systems and CRM to maintain accurate records. Utilize skills in Enterprise Resource Planning and Great Plains for efficient cash applications. Handle Automated Clearing House processes and billing functions effectively. Manage accounts receivable and cash activity diligently.
