Assembly & Finishing includes a variety of job duties and performs other tasks as assigned: Assemble components & small parts assemblies onto fuel or industrial tanks. Inspect the accuracy of assembled tanks for potential quality issues. Identify, record, and report any scrapped product. Transport skids via floor jack to wrapping locations. Produce barcode label with correct part number and quantity. Pressurize and submerge tanks in water to identify leaks and other quality concerns. Stock and transfer component inventory to and from the production floor. Using hand and power tools to remove flash from seams. Removes debris from tanks to prepare product for assembly.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Work is performed in a non-airconditioned manufacturing facility.
