Hardwoods manufacturer, established in Baxter, TN for 85 years, is
currently seeking to hire for our Moulding Shop. Commercial Ripsaw
experience is highly desirable but not required. The position is from
6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
We are seeking a responsible individual who can work
independently and take initiative. The ideal candidate should be
capable of lifting heavy items and must be trainable with a strong
work ethic and a desire to learn. This role requires someone who
can multitask and assist management as needed. Problem-solving
skills are a must. Experience with heavy equipment is a huge plus.
Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential. This is a full-
time position, and we are seeking motivated individuals; applicants
lacking initiative need not apply. You would be performing a variety
of tasks as the position requires you to move around. The RipSaw
operation is part of it. You would be feeding and catching lumber on
a Planer, RipSaw, and Moulder. It's a physically demanding position
that requires you to be on your feet all the time. It's a production
finishing mill, so it also requires a person who can be here ON TIME
EVERY DAY. If someone is late, it holds up our production and
everyone is affected. We work Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to
2:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. We pay weekly. We're not
trying to scare you off; we just want you to know what's expected.
We are going through a large expansion, so there's lots of room to
move up for the right person. Compensation will be based on
experience.
