OVERVIEW
Manufactures steel cord to customers specification by operating stranding & cabling (SC) machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Exhibits behavior that is in accordance with BMU Guiding Principles.
Performs job duties in a safe manner to prevent accidents and injury to self and others, and to prevent damage to equipment, products, facility, and the environment.
Performs cyclic work on SC machines.
Performs quality checks.
Actively participates in team problem solving activities.
Prepares documentation to record production quantities and other relevant information.
Uses hand tools, including wire cutters, pliers, and other tools necessary to successfully perform the job.
Operates fusion welder, handling chuck, and stranding & cabling machine.
Maintains equipment, machinery, work area and tools in a clean and orderly fashion.
Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the performance of assigned duties.
Maintains a satisfactory attendance record.
