JOB SUMMARY
Our real estate company needs a highly motivated and hungry project manager to supervise project plans. Jobseekers should love to problem-solve, delegate effectively, and have excellent communication skills. If you’re looking for a role where you can produce a successful project from beginning to end, this is the job for you. We deal with predominately single family and some multi-family homes. Our team acquires, remodels, and sells turn key rental products to investors looking for amazing returns.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with the owner
Calculate the cost estimate of all project tasks and accurately manage the project budget
Plan and schedule the entire construction project, including construction operations and timelines to make sure project deadlines are met
Acquire the appropriate licenses and permits from the corresponding authorities and ensure construction is up to code
Work with general contractors, critical subcontractors, and external vendors to negotiate profitable contracts
Manage general contractors and construction workers and give guidance as needed to ensure high-quality project performance
Communicate the status of the building project to the owner by providing regular progress reports
Put organizational systems into place to ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are well-maintained, and schedule maintenance if needed
Qualifications
Must be based out of Chattanooga, TN or a surrounding area
Project management experience coordinating people, budgets, and timelines
Knowledge of the construction/logistics industry and the standard workflow and process for remodeling preferred, including material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
Experience using project management software preferred
Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills
Ability to implement new processes and revise their efficiency over time
Comfortable with autonomy and being proactive about making critical decisions while involving the team as needed
