Position Mobility: On-site Posting Open: 01/29/2024 Posting Close: 02/04/2024 at 11:59 PM EST Salary: Competitive Position Purpose Position provides governance for Modifications and Project contracts to ensure contract terms and conditions are properly developed, understood and adhered to. This position supports planning and implementation of plant modification activities ensuring that managed activities are conducted in accordance with applicable TVA, Federal, and state regulations. Position is the Department single point of contact for training, in-processing, benchmarking, human performance improvement and the corrective action program (CAP). Job Dimensions Supervisory Responsibility— May have up to 1 M&S Project Manager, 1 Project Control Specialist and Indirect supervision of Modifications / Project Contracts Budget Responsibility— Indirect supervision of Modifications / Project Contracts Principal Accountabilities

Direct the management of all modifications labor contracts at the job site in accordance with TVA procedure and design approval documents.

Support the Mods and Projects Managers in managing modifications contract employees in meeting site goals related to safety, quality, schedule, and budget while maintaining strict compliance with station procedures and policies.

Leads contract performance evaluations with input from key stakeholders

Perform audits of contract invoicing to ensure alignment with contract and TVA requirements

Serves as member of Site Radiological Emergency Plan (REP) team

Serves as one of two Modifications Outage Managers

Manage the development and implementation of programs to verify projects, modifications, and contract personnel are qualified and certified.

Coordinates contractor training and in processing.

Manages the corrective action program for the Department and serves as the Department CARB Chairman.

Coordinates Department self assessments, benchmarking and implementation of best practices.

Overall site supplemental personnel controls from headcounts to contractor reports.

Responsible for in-processing and on-line projects work including ramp-up and demob plans and leveraging resources with contract partners.

Minimum Requirements

Education— B.S. Degree in Business, Engineering or other related technical discipline; or equivalent education, training & experience. A degree is very strongly preferred.

Experience— Eight or more years of experience in nuclear power at a BWR or PWR Nuclear Plant.

Certification/License, etc— Must obtain and maintain requirements for nuclear plant unescorted access. Must be able and willing to assume “on-call” rotational assignments which may include 24 hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week availability, and serve as one of the Modifications Outage Managers.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities— Contracts, Modifications Construction, Training, and Corrective Action Program. Candidate may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position / access requirements and essential job functions.
