Job Title: Mechanical TechnicianJob DescriptionThis company customizes mechanical service trucks for the electrical and railroad industries. Employees will assemble aftermarket and base mechanical components using hand tools. Candidates should have experience reading blueprints or schematics or using a tape measure and should have prior experience in automotive work or equipment assembly, including hydraulic hoses, 12-volt electrical systems, grinding, drilling, and tapping.Responsibilities

Properly diagnose and fix large vehicles and equipment.

Understand and work with basic hydraulics and 12-volt electrical systems.

Identify sizes of fittings and hydraulic hoses.

Operate a plasma cutter, torch, and other hand tools.

Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.

Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Essential Skills

Experience with hydraulic assembly.

Proficiency in automotive mechanics and repair.

Knowledge of electrical wiring and upfitting.

Mechanical assembly involving custom service trucks.

Understanding of basic hydraulics and 12-volt electrical systems.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and use a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with welding, trailer repair, and chassis.

Knowledge of small engine repair and diesel engines.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.

Familiarity with automotive repair tools like impact guns and hand tools.
