Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Food Processing industry for an individual to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee as a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources (HR) Assistant. This role will involve supporting a variety of HR functions in a dynamic work environment.Responsibilities: Assisting with the entry of new employees into the system. Assisting with payroll operations, specifically with Kronos and ADP systems. Assisting with the new hire onboarding process. Creating and generating various reports as required. Providing administrative support as needed. Addressing and resolving general HR related inquiries from employees. Maintaining and updating employee files. Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft 365 Enterprise to perform job duties. Upholding a high level of confidentiality in handling employee information. Assisting with employee relations and fostering a positive work environment.Requirements Bilingual English AND SpanishMinimum of one year of experience in a Human Resources (HR) role Demonstrated ability to create reports and maintain records. Experience with onboarding process and ADP-Payroll system. Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping System is a must. Proven track record of handling HR-related filing and maintaining confidentiality. Strong understanding of Employee Relations. Must be able to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High level of organization and attention to detail.
