High Point Adventure is looking for motivated individuals who excel in customer service, are safety conscious, and love working outdoors in all conditions. This is a physically and mentally demanding position that requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and active communication skills.
This is a part-time seasonal position with High Point Adventures.
Job Description: High Point Adventure Zip Line Guides provide quality guest experiences, adhere to the highest standards, and operate smoothly in a demanding environment. Guides will assist guests in understanding of zip line screening requirements, briefing activities, donning PPE, answering questions, and encourage guests to bravely face fears and anxiety. Guides will facilitate climbing walls, zip line sending and receiving platforms, monitor all activity areas, assist with gear up and gear down, perform necessary rescue and evacuation procedures, and use excellent risk management during all duties. All on-site training is provided and required for employment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 18 years of age
Current First Aid / CPR / AED or ability to pass first aid and CPR training course
Safety conscious
Excellent verbal communication skills
Able to lift 50 pounds
Comfortable working at heights of 50 or more feet
Able to stand outside for long periods of time in all weather conditions
Dates of Employment:
Part Time Seasonal employment starting immediately
Must be available Weekends and Holidays
