Attend to all incoming telephone and e-mail inquiries.Preparation of job quotations, including coding and pricing, in coordination with relevant Sales Manager and sister companies.Process and expedite orders with the appropriate internal departments to ensure that the customer receives his goods by the required date and to the required specifications.Support external sales team with specific customer account informationTake responsibility for all jobs from the enquiry stage, right through to the delivery and collection of cash.Inform customers of order progress and any changes in expected delivery date.Once the goods are ready, ensure that they are dispatched to the customer with the correct paperworkFollow and adhere to all John Crane sales processesAssist finance in resolving payment issues in case of product discrepancies.Monthly planning & reporting to ensure that the sales budget is achieved, where possible.Creating and maintaining the customer/sales database on the company-shared folderMonitor all customer price agreements and contractsAny other duties as may be reasonably required of you by your manager
