Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Assembly
Pay rate: $22.00-$25.00/hour

Our client is in the sport industry and they are looking to hire an Warehouse Associate to join their team in this direct hire opportunity.
Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse Associate assists with shipping and receiving parts, inventory counting and control, and moving materials within the warehouse. Responsibility will include test and assembly of mechanical components as well as electrical components (computers & projectors).
Essential Functions:

Pull correct parts per sales orders
Review customer shipping requirements and perform tasks to accomplish requirements
Handle and pack outgoing shipments per customer according to packing instructions
Verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance
Verifies incoming product against pack-slip and receives Purchase Orders into the computer system
Receives returns (RMA)
Lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls packages and material on a continuous and repetitive basis 10lbs to 75lbs+
Perform accurate material handling procedures at all times
Pull and stage inventory against sales and work orders
Assist in coordinating shipping details with freight carriers
Able to operate basic power tools and hand tools
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year experience as an inventory or warehouse clerk
Experience with inventory transactions and inventory control
Ability to work proactively and positively with a high-level of independence and internal motivation
Ability to work overtime
Ability to operate forklift
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Must pass background, drug test, and motor vehicle report
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
· Experience with Fishbowl (inventory control software)
· Experience in an original equipment-manufacturing environment
· Experience with basic carpentry (production of small wood assemblies using miter saw, screws, etc).
