Warehouse Supervisor
HOURS
Fulltime, 7am-5pm, MondayFriday
One-hour lunch, and two 15 minute breaks in AM and PM
NO NIGHTS. NO WEEKENDS. ALL FEDERAL HOLIDAYS ARE PAID TIME OFF.
PAY
Salary starts at $30,000 (depending on experience)
Eligible for sales bonus (up to 800% of first invoice)
Paid holidays after 60 days
Sick and Vacation time after 1 year
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
Experience supervising employees is highly preferred. Warehouse experience is a requirement, either with us, or with someone else. Laundry or cleaning experience is a plus. Any hard general labor experience is a plus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WAREHOUSE general duties include: Maintaining the operation of laundry equipment and processing inventory. This includes the repeated loading and unloading of products from industrial washers/dryers. You will be required to take daily inventory and follow the daily load sheet so that warehouse inventory is ready for the route drivers by the time they return to the warehouse. Package and process products for daily delivery. Maintain organized, clean warehouse. Must make sure the warehouse doesn't get behind on the laundry. Assist with any special projects in the warehouse. Mechanical skills desirable, forklift experience a plus. Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs, and able to grasp and pull 15-20 lbs repeatedly. Warehouse duties require serious physical dedication and ability, as well as a good mind for work-flow efficiency (keeping machines running and doing work in the proper order).
SUPERVISOR duties include: Supervising equipment and warehouse employees, and ensuring they are using their time wisely and following warehouse protocol by KEEPING THE MACHINES ALWAYS RUNNING. That means something is always being washed or dried in every machine. It is very important that the laundry is done in the most efficient order and way so that the load sheet is finished in time for the drivers to load their trucks at the end of the day.
