We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a well-established not-for-profit retirement community in Luverne, MN 56156. With over 100 years of experience providing exceptional care for seniors, this facility is known for its commitment to quality service and resident well-being.
Position Highlights:
Location: Luverne, MN 56156 (on-site)
Pay Rate: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available:
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Perform routine nursing procedures such as taking and recording vital signs, administering medications, and monitoring residents’ overall health status
Monitor residents for changes in condition, symptoms, or adverse reactions and report findings promptly to the RN or supervising healthcare provider
Assist with wound care and treatment, including the management of pressure ulcers, surgical incisions, and skin tears under the direction of the RN
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, personal support workers (PSWs), therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective resident care
Educate residents and their families on medication management, safety practices, and basic health-related topics
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of care provided, including medication administration, assessments, and daily progress notes, in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Current LPN license in the state of Minnesota
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
CPR/BLS certification (required)
Covid Vaccination Card
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred
Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
