Job Summary:
We are seeking a contract dietitian to support our team in menu development, nutritional analysis, and ensuring compliance with contractual dietary guidelines. This role involves participating in the review and approval of dietary guidelines, policies, and procedures while ensuring diet exchanges for therapeutic and religious diets meet all standards.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on menu development and nutritional analysis.
Review and approve menus to meet contractual dietary guidelines.
Ensure compliance with dietary policies and procedures.
Verify diet exchanges for therapeutic and religious diets adhere to standards.
Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) with current certification.
Experience in menu planning and nutritional analysis.
Familiarity with dietary guidelines and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and compliance.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in correctional food service or similar environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
