Description Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a well-respected company. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions
Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and outlooks
Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
Perform analysis on operating results, comparing against budget
Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
Hire, train, and retain finance staff
Adhere to local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
Establish short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
Evaluate and sustain forecasting and budgeting models
Develop five-year business plans with department managers
Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
Oversee the preparation of all financial reports
Take the lead on all financial and accounting operations
Direct risk and insurance management Requirements - MBA or CPA is preferred
Experience with multiple financial and accounting reporting systems
High analytical and extremely detailed
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
10+ years of accounting and finance experience
Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, accounting, and finance principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
