The primary role of the Regional Sales Engineer position is to increase revenue by turning sales opportunities into done deals. The Regional Sales Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, managing an existing portfolio of business as well as identifying and developing new growth opportunities within an assigned geographical area.Territory : Minnesota, as well as portions of South Dakota, North Dakota and WisconsinPrimary Responsibilities :Represent and promote Lakeland Manufacturing in a professional manner.Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management.Building and maintaining customer relationshipsManaging an existing portfolio of businessIdentifying and developing new growth opportunitiesTraveling within designated territory with in-person contact with existing and potential customers.Proactively identify new growth opportunities within industry end marketsNegotiate contracts and close business opportunities.Forecast and track key account metrics, including sales results and monthly forecasts.Monitor and maintain customers inventory and consignments.Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client’s needs, especially having close working relationships and communication with inside sales.Stay current on market and competitive conditions.Requirements :Familiarity with machining is preferred.Prior general business background with either inside or outside sales experience preferred.Proven sales record and maintained customer relationshipsAble to travel within territory and conduct on-site visits with existing and potential customers.Consultative sales approachMust have ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines, and multi-task.Excellent interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailMicrosoft OfficeFamiliarity with ERP systemsBenefits :Employee benefits available day one of hire include medical, vision, and dental coverage along with 401k enrollment / Roth IRA enrollments and company paid life / STD / LTD insurance.A parental leave plan that provides 4 weeks of paid parental leave for the birth or adoption of a childTuition Reimbursement plan for active full-time employees after one year of service for job related courses of studyApply Now : Embark on a fulfilling career journey with us where your efforts are recognized, and your growth is a priority.
