And under this roof, we protect what matters most.SummaryWe are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Technical Documents and Specification Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documents and specifications for our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.This position will also provide direct support for day-to-day administrative duties in addition to more project related deliverables such as research, support and follow up on departmental operations and projects.Essential DutiesCollaborate with scientists, engineers, product managers and external manufacturers to assemble key material , manufacturing and quality information and understand technical requirements.
Write and maintain technical documentation including new:
Product specifications (focus on externally manufactured products)
R&D test qualification protocols
Lab equipment training and operating manuals/SOP’s ,
Review and edit existing technical documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Consolidate multiple formats of existing product specifications into a single format for use across technical & business functions . Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical documentation meets the needs of stakeholders.
Support daily operations within R&D:
Purchase Order generation
Adding new vendors to the PO system
Invoice tracking and payments
Coordinating lab service repairs and change requests
Monitor capital expense approval requests and track against budget
Manage monthly R&D presentation and quarterly R & D report collection and electronic archiving.
Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other material as needed for internal and external meetings.
Work with scientists to setup recurring IP / competitive intelligence searches
Provides general administrative duties, project support, special events and activities as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.

BA or BS ,Technical or Writing, or related field.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
Experience producing technical documentation, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into easily understandable documentation.
Proficiency with electronic documentation tools such as Google Docs & Sheets Microsoft Word & Excel , Adobe Acrobat, etc.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
