An exciting permanent opportunity available now to join our professional and committed team in Port Macquarie!Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking individuals with a background in Employment Services or Disability Employment interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector across Port Macquarie NSW area.As a Job Placement Consultant, you will actively work to support people living with illness, disability, or injury return to work or obtain new employment and live the best life they can!You will undertake a variety of activities including:Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;Varied client groups for variety in your workday and caseload;Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence;Apply and deliver customer service in employment services and job placement;Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;Brokering new employment or work experience opportunities in remote and regional areas which in turn, provide a swift re-engagement into employment for workers who have been detached from the workplace;Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations;Assist in developing written Labour Market Research reports and brokering vocational programs that support return to work outcomes.
